New from Kinesis-RSS is MS-QuietBox, a noise reduction device for mass spectrometry vacuum pumps.  Manufactured with an acoustic absorbing foam, MS-QuietBox reduces vacuum pump noise by up to 12 dB(A).  Each MS-QuietBox is equipped with quiet running fans which maintain the vacuum pump at its optimum operating temperature.  The unit is compatible with all common vacuum pumps including Leybold and Edwards.  Installation is quick and easy, and can be carried out whilst the mass spec remains running.  MS-QuietBox is CE compliant.
