eVol® – the world’s first automated liquid syringe is now available from Kinesis
Kinesis is pleased to announce the availability of eVol®, the world’s first fully automated liquid syringe.
Combining an analytical syringe with a digital drive and control facility has created a cutting edge handheld analytical syringe that drives laboratory efficiency, precision and accuracy to new levels. eVol can dispense from 2nl up to 500µl with just three different syringes, which can be changed in seconds via SGE’s unique XCHANGE® coupling system.
eVol features a familiar touch wheel interface and a full colour screen. The easy to follow menu allows all the functions to be accessed logically and quickly. The programming functions are intuitive and include help screens and prompts. eVol is easily calibrated to comply with stringent laboratory standards e.g. GLP, GMP, and FDA. Calibrations can be applied to up to ten different syringes and is completed through a simple gravimetric method. Typical applications for eVol include preparation of calibration standards, addition of internal standards, precise dispensing of non-aqueous liquids, and sample dilution.
